About the Sports Centre

Our 25m, four-lane Swimming Pool is a great place to swim, but offers so much more. With specific sessions and activities ranging from General Swimming, Water Aerobics, Pool Fun Sessions and Parent & Toddler Sessions, to Masters Swimming, Pool Parties, Adults Only Sessions and an extensive, popular Swimming Lesson Programme, at the Gwyn Evans Leisure and Activity Centre there is something for everyone.

The Sports Hall is a top quality, four-court facility, fully equipped for Badminton, Hockey, Netball, 5-A-Side, Basketball, VolleyBall, Table Tennis and much, much more. (Did we mention the Cricket Nets, Tae Kwon Do Club, Aerobics Class, Gymnastics Club, Body Conditioning, Circuit Training… need we say more?)

As if that little lot wasn't enough, the Gwyn Evans Leisure and Activity Centre is also a Nationally Recognised educational centre for Swimming Teachers, Coaches and Lifeguards, with courses organised regularly throughout the year. Our Staff are qualified, professional, and courteous and are dedicated to delivering a quality service to you.

We have a fair and reasonable Price Schedule with which you will be pleasantly surprised, concession rates for many groups, and a minimum of 50% reduction for disabled users, with their assistants/carers coming in free of charge!
